Paris Youth Foundation – ‘Lost Cause’ Review

Liverpool band Paris Youth Foundation have released their new single ‘Lost Cause’ , and its another guaranteed summer anthem. After releasing their previous single ‘Losing Your Love’ a few months back, the band have this week shared a new track, which could well be the stepping stone for a future EP for the band.

The indie newcomers throw classic indie-rock vibes all over this track with an anthem like chorus, and a tremendous sound being pumped through the veins of the song. The thumping bass and thrashing guitars on this track is what make it stand out. With this being only their third track, the band seem ready to tackle the giants of indie rock and other bands soaring high in the genre such as Sundara Karma, Circa Waves and Catfish and the Bottlemen. The band have the capability and passion. They’ve released some proper corkers so far and this year could be a make or break year for the band.

The band are truly on the rise at the moment. After playing Reading and Leeds, BBC Introducing Stage last year, the boys will be returning to the festival to play the Festival Republic stage. They’ve also enjoyed a few supporting dates playing alongside Blaenavon and will also tour the UK with The Magic Gang. These are defiantly ones to keep an eye on.
