The Killers announce a Christmas album? YES.

So, The Killers are back? They are and they are back with a Christmas album which doesn’t come as a surprise really. They’ve released annual Christmas EPs and singles over the years but they’ve compiled a full – yes, a FULL album of their favourite festive tracks.

But first, let’s talk about their new Christmas single which they announced a long with their album. “I’ll be home for Christmas” is a charity single, in support of the charity RED which they have backed for years and years. I took a small listen, it starts with a story, about their homes in Nevada. It’s an eerie song. Not something I would expect to hear. I was expecting something more upbeat, but it’s quite a unique christmas song.

Brandon Flowers has definitely given us a special christmas treat this year!

The new single “I’ll be home for Christmas” is available on Apple Music and the Christmas album is out on the 9th of December – a limited CD will then be available, also.

The song list for the album is as follows:

  2. Don’t Shoot me Santa (feat. Ryan Pardey)
