At midnight last night, The Big Moon dropped their brand new track ‘Hold This’. Tonight, there’s a full moon [maybe some elaborate promotional stunt?], so blast this seductive banger on full whack. Your neighbours won’t complain because that’s just how good this song is.
The song opens with a hypnotic swagger, as Juliette Jackson’s entrancing vocals beckon you closer in an all-consuming seduction. After an enchanting first chorus, The Big Moon’s signature explosive guitars and genius chord progressions carry Jules’ vocals on waves before crashing into a choppy instrumental. Soph Nathan’s beautifully fuzzy guitar wails over Fern Ford’s triumphant drum clashes and Celia Archer’s sweeping bass line. With a song as gorgeous as this, “how could it get better than this dear?”
‘Hold This’ is the B-side to latest single ‘Formidable’ and will feature on The Big Moon’s debut album Love In The 4th Dimension, released on the 7th of April 2017 via Fiction Records. With their creative genius and astronomical charm, this debut is destined to be full of absolute bangers so treat yo’self and pre-order the album on signed CD & Vinyl now: http://po.st/TBMLVPEC and discover more on Spotify: http://po.st/CompleteTBM
