The Florida experimental punk twins, are back with a twist, shout and a bang as they release new song ‘All Access’ alongside an official video and new EP announcement. The duo are their usual fun, strange and scary selves that we all know and love on this one, the the new track is like a funfair on acid.
They’ve managed to pull off something even crazier and more pulsating than ever on ‘All Access’ and I expect nothing less to come from the EP. We here at Let It Happen tipped The Garden as a one of the hottest band to watch this year, they’re easily one of the most exciting acts in the game right now.
The Garden have set their own rules and lifestyle to abide by: “vada vada”, which Wyatt Shears (bassist) describes as ‘pure creative expression, that disregards all previously made genres and ideals’. The Garden are out to do things exactly the way they want, and there is nothing holding them back.
“Staying up late, you won’t last long” rings the chorus accompanied by a frantic video game style electronic pounding beat, inciting feels of an LSD trip. The lyricism tells the viewer exactly what The Garden are about, it would be the perfect introduction to the band. The track is rebellious, fiery, energetic and makes you wanna dance your ass off, it’s bound to be incredible live.
The ‘All Access’ video, by Will Sipos and Sean Campos takes the viewer on an Orange County, day in the life adventure. We see the viewer attend a show, get patted down by security, jump around, intrude on a backroom card game, go to the toilet and have his scooter stolen by the band, just an ordinary day with the Fletcher twins!
The brothers will release ‘U Want The Scoop?’ via Epitaph Records on March the 3rd, it is available to preorder on iTunes now.
The Garden are blessing the UK briefly with their presence in March, before embarking across Europe.
