Swansea based SUNS ascend from below with dark and mysterious new offering Blood Money.

The track fires up with a bouncy guitar riff which steers the single in the right direction. It doesn’t take long for the grungy deep bass to kick in and the track transforms into a dark and frustrated assemblage of emotions.

The song has a sense of not being able to wait any longer, it's been waiting to be released and the bass almost bursts with excitement into the track. The calming vocals take a backseat to the in your face booming guitar which gives the track a very similar sound to Drenge’s heavier creations like Undertow, characterised by the out of control bass guitar the track flaunts. The track shows more versatility towards the end with a Metallica inspired guitar solo to complete the track in 4 minutes of glory.

It takes a few plays of the track to really get the feel for Blood Money but with the serious lack of bands making dingy grunge music this track is a real catch. My only criticism of the track would be the indistinguishable vocals which have very little to add to the track. The spotlight focuses on the content packed array of guitar influences this track gloats.
