Blaenavon share breathtaking new single ‘Alice Come Home’, and we’re beyond excited

As the release of their hugely anticipated debut,'That's Your Lot', edges ever nearer, we're all aching for just that teensy bit more of Blaenavon's exquisite, and sweeping indie-rock. Turns out the wait might be over sooner than you think, as the Hampshire trio share new album cut 'Alice Come Home', and it's more than enough to whet our appetites...
The song, which follows recent single 'Orthodox Man', jostles for position as 'That's Your Lot's centrepiece. A breathtaking six and half minute ballad that sways and twirls elegantly, it's yet another reminder of this young band's staggering capabilities.

Ben Gregory's sumptuous vocals soar above flickering guitars, as thudding percussion ushers you into the familiarly spellbinding chorus hook. It's utterly sublime, recalling The Maccabees (*sniffles*) at their most brooding and introspective.
The new single also comes with an accompanying video in tow, made up of footage taken from the band's New York headline show last December, you can watch it in the player above. If you're not ready to pop with excitement by now, then you've already lost me.
