Neighbourhood Festival 2017

Manchester’s answer to the Great Escape is back in 2017 and the line-up is looking greater than ever.

The city-wide indie festival will take place on Saturday October 7 and will include a wave of new talent mixed with established stars.

Following on from the success of last year’s edition, a plethora of local artists have been announced for the festival that takes place around Oxford Road.

Building on a very successful year, local bands Cabbage, The Blinders and Rory Wynne were announced, as well as Mancunian songstress Phoebe Green.

Headlining the festival are Peace, the acclaimed foursome from Worcester, who released their album ‘Happy People’ in 2015, to critical acclaim.

They are joined by Essex-based punk rocker Rat Boy and other fresh new talent including The Amazons, Superfood and Leo Stannard.

Early bird tickets are sold out, however general sale tickets for the up-and-coming city festival go on sale Friday 26 May at 10am.

They are priced at £25 and can be bought from ticketmaster.co.uk or gigsandtours.com.
