Alt-rockers Placebo have announced another UK tour to coincide with their ’20 Years of Placebo’ celebrations. The band previously toured the UK last December, playing to packed out venues such as the Barclaycard Arena, Manchester Arena and Wembley Arena.
This time around, the band are still playing large venues, yet they will have a sense of intimacy about them. The band are playing some obscure locations after their massive arena tour last year, and with these much more intimate venues, we can expect this tour to be intense.
Meanwhile, Placebo recently uploaded their music video for ‘Life’s What You Make It’. The video itself is dedicated to the workers of Agbogbloshie, the worlds largest electronic waste dump which is located in Accra, Ghana. Watch the video below.
This new tour is one that any fan should not miss. Expect the band to play hits and rarities. IF you do get a ticket, expect that night to be one of the best nights of the year.
Tickets for Placebo’s UK tour go on general sale this Friday, with a special fan resale being made available tomorrow at 9am through http://www.aplaceforustodream.com .
