Bad Sounds are back with single “Hot Head Chippenham”

These boys were already off to a great start with such tunes as “Meat on my Bones” and “Wages” that they released as part of their “PHRESSSH” EP earlier this year. Prior to the release of their second EP they dropped a second single Hot Head Chippenham”  alongside ” Living Alone” which seems to perfectly showcase their Hip Hop meets indie R&B sound.

The song opens with a solid drum beat that instantly makes it impossible not to move to the tune, this is then followed by a very 90’s-esque synth keyboard riff. They seem to have this ability to layer all of their sounds in all of their songs without the track sounding complicated and noisy.

The lyrics prove very catchy throughout the whole song with the chorus being a simple repetition of “Hot head, hot head, hot head” yet It’s been going around my head all day.

If you’re looking for something new and interesting then Bad Sounds are definitely your best bet, with a similar punchy energetic sound to Rat Boy the boys arebound to go far as the music world is embracing a new and fresh (or should I say ‘Phresssh’) style. Be sure to check them out.
