Shame set ‘Concrete’ single

Shame have just dropped us another great, gritty track to the name of Concrete.

Also, the official video for concrete:

Not shying away too far from their already scuzzy post punk sound.
Having heard this at Green Man in the summer its a shining example of
Shame.

As front man Charlie explains during the live introductory of the single;
it comes from the perspective of someone in a dead end relationship,
that internally they’re attempting to deal with.

They’ve kept their tendency to intrigue you in with slow, somewhat formal spoken lyricism particularly in Concrete where by the vocals begin deeper. Then the quickening guitar shimmers throughout. Even in the chorus we have
the classic chant of straight words which leaves us with No More Questions.

Here’s some yet to be published photos I took back in May in Clwb iFor Bach, Cardiff (under the blog’s gig review section!)
