Stuttering Mind by Honey Lung Review

After gracing the BBC introducing stages at both Reading and Leeds fest, Honey Lung have now announced that they’ll be gracing us with the single “Stuttering Mind”. The chilled alt-rock group from London are releasing the single on all platforms on the 29th of September this year.

The song itself in my opinion would be the ideal song for blasting in your car with the windows down in the middle of summer while the sun is going down on a long drive, if you’re into that sort of thing. And if not then it’s also a great song for nostalgically sitting on a windowsill when it’s pouring down with rain.

Opening with nothing but a simple electric guitar riff it’s a sweet opening to a bittersweet song that reminds me of my high school days of sitting in an old library listening to any indie band I could find. With the lyrics “Oh, this stuttering mind” echoing throughout the chorus it’s a certain mix of all the classic traits of a loveable hit.
