PLAZA unveil new single “Speak it”

PLAZA is an upcoming grunge-pop outfit from Hartlepool who appear to be on the path to fame after a stunning performance at Reading & Leeds festival for BBC intro. After taking a glimpse at their track “origami” it’s plain to see the band are trying something a little different, from the dreamy guitar riffs and wavy vocals to the drowsy themes of youthful ignorance, romance and growing up.

Their brand new single “Speak it” is a hard hitting anthem drowning in a dreamy, melodic atmosphere reminiscent of bands like Varsity and Sugar Candy Mountain, and blended with it’s heartfelt lyrics about identity and originality it only proves the fact that PLAZA are a powerful collective capable of capturing a real sense of beauty in their music while still maintaining a brash, grunge sound.
