Having generated a stir on the Cardiff live circuit, SOCK have released a music video of their latest single ‘Bored’. The narrative itself exudes the melancholic feel of monotony, accompanied by delicate guitar leading into psychedelic distortion.
Surfacing in 2017, the band experiment with a predominant psych-indie sound laced with funk. The outfit can be easily likened to that of Tame Impala and Mac Demarco, where the off-beat vocals from lead Jacob Church boast depth.
‘Bored’ is taken from their highly anticipated debut album ‘Fresh Bits’, due to be released on June 1st through Bubblewrap Collective. Produced by On Par Productions, the video sees friends cruising around popular Cardiff skate-spots in a monochrome setting.
If you want to see SOCK (where in the past, sock throwing has been known to happen), they have been announced to play Green Man Festival and Focus Wales 2018.
