Indie-punks, BlackWaters, have dropped their debut EP ‘People Street’

With airplay from Radio 1 and Radio X, the BlackWaters EP has been longly awaited and, without a doubt, its certainly a statement debut.

The punk titans of Sheffield have produced a stellar 5-track collection of social observation delivered with witty narrative and angst. Having supported Killing Joke, DMAs and The Libertines, the quartet’s live shows are an enthralling spectacle of chaos highlighted by indie hooks.

Having travelled to Spain to work with Killing Joke’s, Youth, as producer; the EP clearly draws upon strong influences of traditional punk yet is refreshing in their “own brand of post-millennial punk rock”.

They have graced festival stages up and down the country having dominated London’s gig circuit, where their already impressive following speaks volumes to their limitless potential.

BlackWaters are the perfect a band FFO Slaves, Shame and Idles. Their EP is now available on Spotify and check out their single ‘Pick Me Up’ here:
